Things I could be doing...

I could be reading any story in the world that I want. I could be going over to my friend's house. I could be writing my own story. I should be editing some older stories that I've let sit for far too long. You want to know what I have been doing?

I've been on Yahoo BabelFish, translating a bajillion websites into different languages. I feel like I've wasted hours and hours of time for some reason. It's only been an hour since I started. I had fun though. I read a blog in Spanish and actually understood most of it! How's that for improvement?

Anyway, I guess I should talk about something related to literature. I'm rereading The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. The sad thing is that when I first read them I thought that it was merely just a fictional series. It wasn't until this past year that I learned the truth: The Chronicles of Narnia is a religous allegory! And now that I'm reading the books again, I can recognize it. I feel so stupid for not recognizing it earlier. I guess I can also write off my ignorance to the fact that I was in 6th grade the first time I read those books.

Dang, I guess I never noticed but I have matured a lot these past few months. I went from being the one who made every single grammatical mistake you can think of to being the one who corrects most of them whenever I see them. Trust me when I tell you that I know what I'm saying when I write things on here. Or maybe I don't and I'm just deluding myself. Either way, I'm pretty sure I know what I'm doing. Maybe I'll post some of my own work on here one day and let my readers tear it apart.

Yours Truly,
The Critic

P.S. Who am I kidding? I don't have readers yet.
